Vendor Insight: What's The Right Way To Perform Large-Scale Monitoring Conversions?

Source: Innovative Retail Technologies

By Mark Versaggio, Vector Security

For some, the time to convert central station monitoring comes when a retailer realizes that a supplier's failing level of service has progressed from one or two scattered incidents to become a serious chronic condition. This is reflected in consistently poor experiences with service after the installations, lack of communication and follow-up, and ineffective alarm reporting capabilities. This results in excessive return trips to rectify oftentimes simple problems and finally, unnecessary false alarms and dispatches.
