In partnership with AutoInsurance.com, Walmart is now providing a one-of-a-kind service made specifically for the largest retailer, allowing customers to easily compare, shop, and save on select auto insurance policies.

AutoInsurance.com, owned by a licensed property and casualty insurance group, based in New Jersey, was developed after Walmart decided they need to give customers an easier way to explore better car insurance options and save. “Providing our customers with access to a broad assortment — from groceries to tires — at low prices and in one location is what we’re known for. We’re bringing the same one-stop shopping mentality to the insurance industry with AutoInsurance.com,” says Daniel Eckert, senior VP of services for Walmart U.S.

Walmart customers can expect a complete network of convenience and simplicity for free when they log onto www.walmart.com/autoinsurance, customers only need to provide their name, address, date of birth, and contact information while the site recovers and fills in the data of their current plan, allowing for immediate policy comparison with leading carriers. After making adjustments and including deductibles, they are presented with quotes from national leading carriers, including Esurance, Progressive, Safeco, The General, 21st Century Insurance and numerous others. Quotes that are likely more favorable than their current coverage. Customers will have the choice to purchase a policy right on-the-spot, speak to an agent or save information for future purchasing. Following a purchase, customers will be contacted shortly by their new agency or from AutoInsurance.com.

Reviews and ratings of AutoInsurance.com reveal that 100 percent of reviewers recommend the service. A recent review states, “I was not in the market for car insurance but saw a display in my local Walmart and figured I would check it out. The site was quick and easy and I got 5 quotes. I spoke with one of Autoinsurance.com’s agents and purchased a policy. I ended up saving $1092 for the year!”  The Walmart-provided site was first launched in Pennsylvania last year, saving customers on average $1,168 annually after switching to a better policy.

AutoInsurance.com is now featured in all Pennsylvania, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Texas stores, with plans to expand nationwide shortly.

Walmart’s commitment, “Saving People Money, So They Can Live Better,” is becoming more apparent with new services the company is implementing. Just last month, the company introduced Walmart-2-Walmart Money Transfer Service with fees offered at comparable low costs to that of competitors, and the company began carrying a new line of wholesome organic and natural foods at more affordable prices than other brands and stores.
