New Tyco Retail Experience Center Opens In Bentonville, Arkansas

Tyco Retail Solutions and Walmart enter Leading-edge partnership to drive greater business value.
Tyco Retail Solutions has announced that it has partnered with Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, to open a new Retail Experience Center in Bentonville, Arkansas to showcase its broad range of security and inventory management solutions. The 5,000-sq.ft. state-of-the-art center “exemplifies Tyco Retail Solutions’ commitment to long-term strategic relationships with global customers,” according to a company statement.
Bentonville is home to Walmart’s headquarters, and the new Retail Experience Center lies just one mile from Walmart’s home office.
The new venue hosts resources and capabilities that are aligned with Walmart’s growing global footprint, and provides firsthand experience with Tyco’s information-based solutions that help drive greater business value in an ever-evolving retail environment.
Eric White, Tyco national account manager for Walmart U.S. explained, "The new center also provides the Walmart team a unique opportunity to experience our innovative solutions in a personalized, high-impact, interactive environment. This one-to-one engagement helps drive breakthrough technology tailored to their needs," White said.
"Adding talent to our local Walmart U.S. team will help us continually improve service and support to Walmart. And, we hope that moving within close proximity to Walmart's home office will facilitate frequent open and productive dialogue with the Walmart organization—fueling innovation and speeding delivery of new offerings," he said.
The center includes an innovative showroom and simulated retail store, providing access to resources and encouraging open exchange of ideas and insights.

Among the solutions showcased at the new Retail center are traffic and inventory intelligence, Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS), source tagging, video surveillance, fire suppression, fire detection, and intrusion detection.
Tyco Retail Solutions is a leading provider of integrated retail performance and security solutions, with customers in more than 70 countries worldwide. The company operates 12 retail centers worldwide, including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dusseldorf, Mexico City, Singapore, Barcelona, and Madrid, although this is the first center that has been built exclusively for one client.
